Over the past years Andreas "Big Daddy" Kraniotakes has been making a name for himself in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. By dedicating his life to the sport and to those who love it, he is constantly fighting in and outside of the ring for a better image of the sport itself. As a German-based fighter it hasn't been easy getting into the fight game and establishing a reputation amongst his peers from countries where MMA fighters are already recognized as what they are: Athletes. The son of a Greek father and a German mother, he was born in Munich Germany. Bavaria's capital could not hold him for long, so he moved up north and finally settled in Koblenz where he started fighting at the age of 14. Like many others he studied a traditional martial art first. It was the sport of Judo that taught him the budo spirit.
